AZTLAN: THE RECONQUISTA AGENDA TO DESTROY AMERICA

What is wrong with this picture?

According to a growing part of our population, this is the way the world would look without the imperialist oppression of the Europeans that have stolen this land. Before you call me an alarmist, please feel free to research a few websites on your own.

After reading these separatist’s websites many people might automatically assume that these are extremists or perhaps even the product white racists over active imaginations. Sadly, these organizations are very real and they have an agenda.

The agenda is one of racial dominance, separatists, and for some, treason. What agenda? How about re-conquering the lands of the American Southwest in the name of Aztlan through rapid population growth, racial re-education in our school systems, and political manipulation by way of political re-conquistas, for example?

What is Aztlan?

Aztlan actually stands for land of the white herons. It is a mythical place of Aztec origin that is a sort of promised land. According to legend, it would be known by an eagle sitting on a cactus, devouring a serpent. The resurgence of this legend came with the so-called Chicano movement of the 60’s. (What liberal movement didn’t begin in that decade?)

With the renewal of this “brown power” dreamland without any “Anglos”, came a plan.
"El Plan," which owes its creation to the poet Alurista, became the cultural nationalists' manifesto. First, it establishes the unique nature of Chicano culture, since La Raza (the Bronze race) has an Aztec origin. The Spanish word raza means "the people," and raza de bronce means "the brown people," who claim to be descendants of the Aztecs. Second, it identifies Aztlán as the Mexican territory ceded to the United States in 1848—that is, present-day California, Arizona, New Mexico, and parts of Colorado. Third, following one of the basic ideas of the Mexican Revolution, it recognizes that the land belongs to those who work it. And fourth, it identifies the Chicano nation with Aztlán.
Aztlán became the symbol most used by Chicanos and Chicanas—activists as well as authors—writing about the history, the culture, or the destiny of their people. In April 1969 a group of concerned activists met in Santa Barbara and drafted El Plan de Santa Barbara: A Chicano Plan for Higher Education. Recommendation number nine deals with students' organizations: "The various students groups, MAYA, MASC, UMAS, adopt a united name as symbol and promise; such as CAUSA (Chicano Alliance for United Student Action) or MECHA (Movimiento Estudiantil Chicano de Azatlán)" (p. 22). The name MECHA was adopted and is much in the news, as during the 2003 elections for governor of California one of the candidates, Cruz Bustamante, was attacked for having belonged to MECHA during his student days. Luis Leal

What is MECHA?

Movimiento Estudiantil Chicano de Aztlán (MEChA) is the national organization that promotes radical and racists ideas about racial superiority, as well as preaching a takeover of what is now the American Southwest. Don’t take my word for it. Let’s visit the website.
Each word in MEChA symbolizes a great concept in terms of la causa. Movimiento means that the organization is dedicated to the movement to gain self-determination for our people. Estudiantil, identifies the organization as a student group for we are part of our Raza's future. At the heart of the name is the use of the identity: Chicano. At first seen as a negative word, now taken for a badge of honor. In adopting their new identity, the students committed themselves to return to the barrios, colonias, or campos and together, struggle against the forces that oppress our gente. Lastly, the affirmation that we are Indigenous people to this land by placing our movement in Aztlan, the homeland of all peoples from Anahuak.
Advocating an educational revolution, we recognize that our bullets are our books and our victories are an increase in Chicana/Chicano graduates committed to our people's progress. We, as Mechistas must dismantle the co-optation of Raza students from becoming "corporate Hispanics" claiming to be leaders of our community with no understanding of El Pueblo Chicano. Instead, M.E.Ch.A. seeks to train future community leaders to be consciously committed to serve the people of Aztlán. http://www.nationalmecha.org/about.html

As if that weren’t enough, look what I found under the heading of “national pride.” As far I am aware, we are still in the United Sates, aren’t we? So what other nation are they referring to?

Recognizing that the majority of our Raza are members of the working class, we avow an anti-imperialist analysis that includes Chicana/Chicano self-determination. Chicano self-determination must begin with the recognition of what is implied in using the term M.E.Ch.A. (Movimiento Estudiantil Chicano de Aztlán). Essentially, we are a Chicana and Chicano student movement directly linked to Aztlán. As Chicanas and Chicanos of Aztlán, we are a nationalist movement of Indigenous Gente that lay claim to the land that is ours by birthright. As a nationalist movement we seek to free our people from the exploitation of an oppressive society that occupies our land. Thus, the principle of nationalism serves to preserve the cultural traditions of La Familia de La Raza and promotes our identity as a Chicana/Chicano Gente.
Such leadership should be principled and not liberal. For this reason, we cannot believe in unity for unity's sake since there are many opportunistic organizations, groups, and/or individuals who care only for themselves and not for our people. Just as we would expel FBI or CIA agent provocateurs from our organizations, such opportunistic organizations, groups, and/or individuals must be exposed and expelled to strengthen our Movement.

Keeping the above mentioned references from the organization’s own website in mind, it should be no surprise that the group has been linked with some questionable activities. In May 2006, 5,00 copies of the Pasadena City College’s campus newsletter were stolen in an act of vandalism identified with the group MEChA. Isolated event? Not a chance. In 2002, a similar act occurred at U.C. Berkeley and U.C. Davis. No surprise that yet another incident occurred at the University of Northern Colorado at Greeley. So much for racial cohesion and free speech. http://www.worldnetdaily.com/news/article.asp?ARTICLE_ID=50408

El Plan Espiritual de AztlánIn the spirit of a new people that is conscious not
only of its proud historical heritage but also of the brutal "gringo" invasion
of our territories, we, the Chicano inhabitants and civilizers of the northern
land of Aztlán from whence came our forefathers, reclaiming the land of their
birth and consecrating the determination of our people of the sun, declare that
the call of our blood is our power, our responsibility, and our inevitable
destiny. We are free and sovereign to determine those tasks which are justly
called for by our house, our land, the sweat of our brows, and by our hearts.
Aztlán belongs to those who plant the seeds, water the fields, and gather the
crops and not to the foreign Europeans. We do not recognize capricious frontiers
on the bronze continent Brotherhood unites us, and love for our brothers makes
us a people whose time has come and who struggles against the foreigner
"gabacho" who exploits our riches and destroys our culture. With our heart in
our hands and our hands in the soil, we declare the independence of our mestizo
nation. We are a bronze people with a bronze culture. Before the world, before
all of North America, before all our brothers in the bronze continent, we are a
nation, we are a union of free pueblos, we are Aztlán. For La Raza to do. Fuera
de La Raza nada.

Open-Hearts, Open-Borders

First, there is absolutely no need to identify anyone as a hyphenated American. We should all, as citizens, be willing to defend and honor the national sovereignty of the United States above all others. After reading this and researching on one’s own, I would be curious to discover how real of a threat this is perceived as. The dangers of not identifying such elements within our own borders should be evident after the example of modern day Europe and the Islamic extremists that have infiltrated it.

This is an election year and every single major candidate remaining to date is an open borders advocate. Do your part and elevate this issue if you think it is as important as I do.

After reading these separatist’s websites many people might automatically assume that these are extremists or perhaps even the product white racists over active imaginations. Sadly, these organizations are very real and they have an agenda.
